Sören Lukas Schirmer is diverse - Cellist, Composer (Søren L. Schirmer), freelance Photographer and Producer with his own independent Production Studio SLS AUDIO PRODUCTIONS for Audio Productions, Interviews, Image Films and Music Videos based in Germany.
His work is interdisciplinary, his fields of work are linked by his professional background - classical music. Therefore he loves to holisticly supervise projects.
His portrait photographs adorn CD covers, numerous artist biographies and concert critics as well as model portfolios (MODELWERK, FAZE, MOST WANTED, ROTHMANN, MGM) and have been featured in the China TIMES MAGAZINE; his expansive landscape shots have been printed, exhibited and distributed in oversized formats by the Kollektion Wiedemann since 2018. He partnered as a Photographer with the Agency Deutsche Klassik and regularly shoots at renown Concert Halls such as the Elbphilharmonie, the Laeiszhalle, the HCC Hannover, the Konzerthaus Berlin, etc. and photographed Musicians such as Anne-Sophie Mutter, Jan Lisiecki, Daniel Hope, Klaus Mäkelä, Kian Soltani, Pablo Ferrandez, Sol Gabetta and many more.
As a Producer he worked with Clients such as Amazon Prime, C. Bechstein, Ehrbaar Hall Vienna, Beijing Audio-Visual Publishing Co., Otto Bock HealthCare, KD Goette, Deutsche Klassik, countless Musicians, Oeschberghof Donaueschingen, etc. and produced many CDs, Interviews, Image Films, Music Videos and Live Recordings.
At the age of five he began to play the piano, at the age of seven cello, after a few years the organ was added; he quickly moved to the IFF of the HMTM Hannover under the supervision of Prof. Martin Brauß and became an early student, later a junior student. There he learns - in addition to his main subject cello - the basics of being creative and receives a multifaceted education in the areas of theory, composition, conducting and music history.
Since 2019, he has been studying cello for a Bachelor of Music's degree at the HMTM Hannover under Prof. Tilmann Wick and Prof. Paolo Bonomini and, driven by ambition and art, is implementing creative projects and commissions of all kinds at the same time in Germany and throughout Europe.

Every human being is different and he fell in love with pushing the diversity of all facets of his models, musicians and clients to their limits, to show their character, changeability and manifest them in unique images. His photos can be found on CD Covers, Posters, Magazines, countless Artist Biographies and of course in the portfolios of several modeling agancies.

Interview Cityglow 2021
He worked with many musicians, actors, models and commercial clients. A selection of landscape photographs is exhibitioned, printed and sold by the Kollektion Wiedemann. As a technic enthusiast he has acces to different cameras including the renowned brand Hasselblad which allows him to shoot in a more natural color space. Knowing all technical aspects well and owning lots of equipment helps him breaking the limits of common creative boundaries.
